Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector
This product is perfect for extra oily skin. I recently began using this product and I can say it does a wonderful job controlling excess oil and shine. It takes my makeup a lot longer to move when I use this product versus the Neutrogena Shine Control Primer I was previously using. This primer is said to target oil producing areas and create a sort of liquid blotting paper to keep your skin matte all day. It has 12 hour lasting power but I have not worn it that long to determine if it continues to work for that length of time.
Be-beautiful Hair-Skin-Nails Vitamins by GNC Wellbeing
It's important to maintain hair, skin, and nail health both inside and out. As you guys know, I was using the Manetabolism Hair Vitamins by The Mane Choice. I stopped using it because I was starting to blemish after pimples and I wasn't sure what was causing it. Since then, I have began taking these vitamins. I will post a 30 day review on July 15, 2014.
Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multipurpose Powder Foundation
It's mineral oil free and provides a medium coverage with a sheer application for a flawless finish. Meaning, it does not take a lot of this product to provide me with a medium matte coverage. It can be used as foundation or a setting powder. Since using this product, I have not had to use my IMANI BB Cream to correct and cover blemishes. My color is 177 Neutral Caramel. I particularly like that this powder works with my primer to keep my natural oils at bay.
Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Clay Mask
As mentioned previously in our staple products post, this mask is a must! Especially in the summer time, I use this mask twice a week. The kaolin clay in this product helps keep your pores clear of dirt and oil.
Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara & CoverGirl's Exact Eyelights in Black Gold
On a hot summer day, I sometimes do not feel like putting on makeup. In those cases, I'll throw on a little mascara to give my eyes a little pop and I head out the door. I use the Make Up For Ever Mascara to add volume and length. I love extended lashes but not yet comfortable with wearing falsies. I use the Covergirl Mascara to add a gold shimmer that reflects in the sun.
Milani's Baked Bronzer
Any bronzer will do. I love to apply this to my cheeks only to illuminate my face.

I do not have a staple deep conditioner at the moment as I've just decided to allow my hair to teach me what it likes this summer. Right now, I am using DevaCurl's Heaven in Hair deep conditioner. I've only used it twice and I put my weave right back in so I cannot speak on it's effectiveness. I will get to know it better this summer. This product is supposed to provide intense hydration which is important for your locks as the summer sun can dry them out.
Avocado. Macadamia. Hemp Seed. Coconut. Jojoba. Grapeseed. Sesame seed. Raspberry seed. Oils. Each of these oils have agents to protect your hair from the sun's rays. Just like your skin, please protect your hair. I use a combination of all of these oils minus the sesame seed and raspberry seed oils.

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Passion Fruit and Guava
I use this exfoliant to nourish and rejuvenate my skin. It's key ingredients (passion fruit and guava extract; safflower seed, evening primrose, sweet almond, avocado, macadamia seed, and orange oils) each work together to tighten, rejuvenate, nourish, reduce sun spots, improve complexion, hydrate, moisturize, and detoxify. This is excellent for the summer. I use it every 3 days.
Please protect your skin. Although we brown skin girls do not burn as easy as our lighter sisters, we are no exception to the sun's powerful abuse rendered by it's UV rays. I do not have a staple sunscreen and just kind of grab what I see. I have been thinking about trying Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock. You want to look for something with SPF 30 or higher.
Secret Outlast & Olay: Completely Clean
I absolutely love this stuff. It's great at absorbing wetness as I can sweat a lot during the summer time. Most deodorants leave my armpits smelling "old" after all day outside. This fresh smell lasts all day without leaving that weird smell that I hate. Ladies, please invest in a deodorant that hides your funk all day.
Jergen's Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizing Lotion
This is my favorite lotion for the season. It not only moisturizes, it adds shine and sheen to the skin. I love to show my legs. Call me crazy but my skin can be so dry that if you touch me the wrong way I will get ashy. I don't have to worry about that when I use this. It illuminates my legs and I love that "camera ready" shine.
African Black Soap
Black soap is amazing for the skin. I use it on my body and my face. It helps lighten scars, delays aging, and removes extra oil from skin. I hate that it turns my washcloths black but hey, it's worth it. Any brand will work. I do not have a staple vendor but I usually get the one from AMBI or the one pictured to the left.
