Do you have a late-night sugar craving that just won't go away? To satisfy your sweet tooth craving without going on a caloric overdose, think fruit! Stock your fridge with ... to help resist the temptation of chocolate cake. Enjoy a sliced apple with a tablespoon of nut butter; a yummy and healthy way to satisfy your endless craving for sweets. You can also indulge in chocolate-dipped strawberries (dipped in dark chocolate), a smoothie(containing mostly fruit), a yogurt parfait (made with Greek yogurt), sorbet, or my personal fave fruit and cottage cheese. The fruits that are the healthiest for you to eat when trying yo stick with a diet plan are the following: Apples, bananas, kiwi, grapefruit, oranges, lemons, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, and cranberries just to name a few.

Don't ever buy tennis shoes that hurt your feet, point blank period! Your shoes should fit comfortably the first time you try them on. You should go shoe shopping in the evening since your feet swell during the day. When shopping for the perfect workout shoe, you want to shop when your feet are at their biggest. Also, make sure that your shoes are a little roomy—enough that you can wiggle your toes, but no more than that. 

 

Learn When to Weigh Yourself

You've been working out and sticking to your diet plan...that's awesome! But now it's time to track your progress. When weighing yourself, It's best to get on the scale in the morning before eating or drinking. This way you will get the most reliable number. Also check your weight at a consistent time whether its daily or weekly.

When eating a meal, whether home cooked or at a restaurant,  think about cutting your servings in half. It is best to try and fill half your plate with veggies or a mixture of veggies and fresh fruit. That way it won't be so easy to overdo it on the dishes that contain the most calories.

It is very important to hydrate in order to stay energized and endure your best workout. Athletic drinks (Gatorade, Powerade, Vitamin Water) can help keep you hydrated, but, can also be a source of unnecessary calories. Drink tons of water!!!!! Drinking water is usually fine until you're exercising for more than one hour. If you plan on working out for more than a hour, feel free to go for that Gatorade, which will replenish your electrolytes.

Drinking all-natural green tea is a wonderful way to help boost your weight loss and your health. Green tea has the power to stoke your metabolism. It contains the highest concentration of catechins and antioxidants found in plants (which have been found to protect against heart disease and some cancers).
